The Clean channel features a low-gain FlexWave Evolution 5™ preamp, providing sparkling clean tones. The Solo channel's high-gain preamp provides serious overdrive, which can be finessed with its dedicated Level control. This channel also features our proprietary Shape control, which lets you dial in British style scooped mids, or the more American style boosted midrange. Equalization is handled with Crate's 3-band EQ, which is legendary for tweaking in the most subtle or dynamic tonal characteristics you want. The DSP section in the VTX15B features 16 Multi effects that include Chorus, Flange, Phase Shift, Rotating Speaker, Octaver, Touch-Wah, Reverse-Wah, and much more. Speed for these effects can be set via the panel-mounted Tap button. Channel switching and DSP can be controlled with a footswitch, keeping your hands free for what you do best, performing.
