Crate FW15 Crate FW15 Description: The FlexWave15 is a compact, two-channel 15-watt combo that gives you awesome clean and blistering distortion tones, thanks in no small part to our FlexWave™ Evolution 5 preamp with patented Sequential Cascading Gain technology. FlexWave15's 8" speaker is optimized for maximum efficiency with the highly engineered closed-back cabinet, producing a loud and punchy thump you'd swear came from a half stack. A stereo input lets you jack in a CD or MP3 player and jam along with your favorite songs, while a headphone jack lets you practice at any hour, without the police knowing your address from memory. Onboard 3-band EQ provides dynamic tone control, while the external output can power an additional speaker. This super versatile mini-combo weighs in at just 15 pounds, so you can carry it with ease and avoid developing muscles that would destroy your carefully crafted emaciated rocker image. INPUT: Use this jack to connect your guitar to the amplifier by means of a shielded instrument cable. OVERDRIVE CHANNEL: A high gain channel giving you sounds from a slight edge to serious overdrive. 2. GAIN: Use this control to adjust the amount of distortion for the Overdrive channel. 3. LEVEL: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Overdrive channel. 4. OVERDRIVE/CLEAN: Use this switch to select the Overdrive or Clean channel. With the switch in the out position, the Clean channel is selected. When the switch is depressed, the Overdrive channel is selected. CLEAN CHANNEL: A normal gain channel designed to give you crystal clear sounds to medium distortion. 5. VOL: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Clean channel. 6. LOW: This adjusts the bass frequencies.Use this control to get the best sounding bass response for your instrument. 7. MID: This adjusts the midrange frequencies. Use this control to get the best projection and midrange tones for your instrument. 8. HIGH: This adjusts the treble frequencies. Use this control to attain a bright and lively sound for your instrument. 9. CD INPUT: Use this 1/8" stereo mini jack to connect the output from a CD player, MP3 player, laptop, etc., to the amplifier.
